I'm Cristina, an NMC-registered aesthetic nurse, and I provide jawline filler treatments across Norwich and Norfolk. A well-defined jawline can completely change how your face looks and feels. Whether you want more definition, a sharper angle, or just more support under your chin, jawline filler can help. The treatment usually takes 30 to 40 minutes. As a mobile nurse-led aesthetics service in Norwich, I come to your home or workplace.
What is Jawline Filler?
Jawline filler uses hyaluronic acid to add structure and definition along your jaw. I place it carefully along the jawline, from the chin around to the back of the jaw, to create a sharper, more sculpted appearance. It adds volume where it counts and can even help support the area under your chin.
The clever thing about jawline filler is that it's not just about adding bulk. It's about strategic placement to enhance your natural bone structure and create shadow and light that makes your jawline look more defined. When done well, it looks like you've just got great bone structure.
Who is it For?
Jawline filler suits people who want more definition and strength in their lower face. Maybe you've always had a softer jawline and want more sharpness. Perhaps your jawline has softened with age, which happens to everyone. Some people want the whole thing redefined, while others just want subtle enhancement.
You might be someone who's felt self-conscious about their jawline, or you might just want to refresh how you look. Jawline filler can boost confidence significantly because it changes the whole shape and proportion of your face. If you're considering it, a consultation is a good place to start.
What to Expect
Consultation
Your consultation has two parts. We start with a video call where we talk about what you're aiming for with your jawline and I get a sense of your face shape. Then on treatment day, we meet in person for 20 minutes. I'll assess your jaw from all angles, show you exactly where the filler will go, discuss how much you might need for the definition you want, and walk through expectations. Once you're confident with the plan, we'll proceed straight to treatment.
Treatment
I'll apply numbing cream and let it work for about 15 minutes. The jawline is quite sensitive, so I work carefully and slowly. I use a fine needle or cannula to place the filler precisely. You'll feel pressure and some discomfort, especially along the bone, but it's manageable. The whole treatment takes 30 to 40 minutes.
Aftercare
Avoid the sun, saunas, and intense heat for 48 hours. Skip heavy exercise for a few days if you can, and try not to sleep on your face the first night. You might have swelling and tenderness, especially along the jaw angle, which is normal. This usually settles within 24 to 48 hours. Ice can help if swelling bothers you. I'll give you a full aftercare sheet to take home.
Results
You'll see an immediate difference, though the true result becomes clearer once any swelling settles, usually within a week. The result will last around 9 to 12 months. The jawline is a high-movement area, so your body does process the filler gradually. Most people come back for a touch-up once a year to keep their definition sharp.
The best results happen when the filler is natural-looking and proportional. I'm aiming for people to notice that you've got a more defined, stronger jawline, not that you've had something done. If you ever want to adjust at a follow-up appointment, we can do that too.
Pricing
Jawline filler starts at £310 during our launch offer (regular price £350). Most people need 2ml or more for visible definition. For complete pricing details and package options, check our pricing page.
Frequently Asked Questions
The jawline is quite sensitive, but it's very manageable. I apply numbing cream first and work slowly. You'll feel pressure and some discomfort, especially along the bone, but it passes quickly. Most people say it's uncomfortable rather than painful. If you're worried, we can chat through pain management options.
Jawline filler usually needs 2ml or more to create visible definition. It depends on your face shape, the length of your jaw, and how much definition you're aiming for. During your consultation, I'll assess your jawline and talk through what would work. You might need a top-up in a follow-up appointment if you want to build gradually.
It can help. By adding definition and support along the jawline, we can create the appearance of more definition. However, if you have a significant amount of loose skin or fat under the chin, filler alone might not be the best solution. We can discuss other options during your consultation.
Jawline filler typically lasts 9 to 12 months, sometimes a bit longer. The jawline is a high-movement area, so your body does process the filler gradually. Most people come back for a touch-up once a year to keep their definition sharp.
The goal is for people to notice that you look more defined and confident, not that you've had treatment. With jawline filler, the best results are natural-looking and proportional to your face. I always aim for subtle enhancement, not dramatic change. We'll chat about your goals and make sure we're aligned.
