What to Expect
Consultation
Your consultation has two parts. First, we'll have a video chat where I get to know your goals and what you're hoping to achieve. We'll talk through how filler works, look at some before and afters, and you'll have time to think about whether this is right for you. When you're ready to go ahead, we'll meet in person on your treatment day at a location that suits you anywhere in Norwich. I'll spend 20 minutes assessing your lips, showing you how the treatment will work on your specific features, confirming our plan together, and going through consent. Then we move straight into the treatment itself.
Treatment
I'll apply numbing cream first, which takes about 15 minutes to work. Then I'll use a fine needle to place the filler exactly where it needs to go. You might feel some pressure and slight discomfort, but it's quick. The whole thing usually takes 15 to 20 minutes.
Aftercare
Avoid the sun, saunas, and hot baths for 24 hours. Don't sleep face-down on your pillow the first night. You can ice your lips if swelling bothers you. Skip intense exercise and alcohol for a few days if you can. Tenderness and light swelling are completely normal and usually settle within 48 hours. I'll send you home with a full aftercare sheet.
Results
You'll see the bulk of the result within a week. Swelling goes down, and the filler settles into place. The result will last around 6 to 9 months, depending on your metabolism and how quickly your body breaks down the product. Some people return after 6 months, others wait closer to 10.
Lip filler looks best when it's subtle and proportional to your face. I'm aiming for results that make people compliment your lips without realising you've had anything done. If you decide you want less at a future appointment, we can adjust. And if you ever want to stop, your lips return to their original state as the filler naturally breaks down.
