Why I Chose Mobile Aesthetics (And Why Clients Love It)

Published April 2026 | 6 min read

When I decided to become an aesthetic nurse, I didn't immediately think I'd go mobile. But after working in a clinic setting for a while, I realised that the way I wanted to work didn't fit the traditional model. So I set up Pardo to do things my way, and honestly, it's the best decision I made.

Let me tell you why I went mobile and what that means for the experience you get when you book with me.

I Wanted to Give People Time

In a clinic, you're on a schedule. Consultations are squeezed into 20-minute slots between other clients. If someone needs longer to talk things through, you've got a waiting room of people behind them. I hated that.

When I go mobile, I come to you and we have as much time as we need. If you want to spend 45 minutes talking about your concerns and working out the best approach, that's what we do. There's no one waiting in reception, no impatient receptionist telling me I'm running late. It's just us, having a proper conversation.

Comfort Matters

A lot of people are nervous about aesthetic treatments. Some have had bad experiences. Some have never done this before and don't know what to expect. A clinic with white walls and medical equipment can feel clinical and intimidating.

When I come to your home, you're in your own space. You're surrounded by things that make you feel safe and comfortable. You can have your partner or a friend there for support if you want. You can play music, have a cup of tea, whatever makes you feel at ease. This changes the whole experience. People relax more, they're more open to talking about what they really want, and the treatment itself feels less scary.

Privacy Is Personal

Not everyone wants to be seen going into an aesthetic clinic. Some clients are private people. Some are in the public eye. Some just don't feel comfortable being seen in a waiting room, even though loads of other people are doing the same thing.

Mobile appointments mean no one needs to know you've had treatment unless you tell them. You're treated in private, and that's it. I'm not going to post about you on social media. Your appointment is between us. That kind of privacy is something a lot of people really value.

No Hassle Around Getting There

Parking in Norwich can be a nightmare. Travelling to a clinic, finding where you're meant to go, checking in, waiting. All of that adds stress to something that should be nice and straightforward.

When I come to you, you just have to be home. I handle the logistics. No parking stress, no getting stuck in traffic, no worrying you're going to be late. You can even reschedule in your lunch break if you want. It fits around your life, not the other way around.

Quality Doesn't Change

Here's what's important though. Coming to your home doesn't mean I'm cutting corners on safety or standards. I use the same products, the same techniques, and the same level of care as any clinic would. Everything I do is fully insured. I'm NMC registered. I've had the same training as any clinic-based practitioner.

I bring everything I need with me. All my equipment is sterile and properly prepared. Your home is clean and suitable for treatment. I follow the exact same infection control protocols as any medical setting. The fact that we're in your living room instead of a clinic doesn't change the quality of what I do.

The Service Is Better

In a clinic, once you've had your treatment, you leave and if you have a question, you have to call reception or send an email. Mobile aesthetics works differently. I'm your contact. You can message me with questions or concerns. I'm accessible. If something feels off, you're not navigating a system trying to get hold of someone. You reach out to me directly.

I also remember my clients properly. I'm not seeing 20 people a day in a high-volume clinic. I know you, I know your concerns, I know what you're hoping to achieve. That makes every subsequent appointment better because I'm building on what we've already discussed rather than starting from scratch.

You Get to Know Me

When I come to your home, you see me as a person. We chat properly. You get a sense of who I am and whether you trust me with your face. That matters. This isn't a transaction with a random practitioner at a clinic. It's a real professional relationship with someone who genuinely cares about doing good work and making you feel confident.

It's More Flexible

I can offer appointments that suit you. Evening appointments, Saturday mornings, flexible scheduling around your life. A clinic has opening hours. Mobile work gives you more options. Want to have a friend round to keep you company? That's fine. Want to go straight back to work? Also fine. It's your time and your space.

The Bottom Line

I chose mobile aesthetics because I wanted to work the way I believe gives the best service. Taking time over consultations, working in a comfortable environment, building real relationships with clients, and maintaining the highest medical standards while doing it all in a relaxed way.

That's not something you get in every clinic. And honestly, it's why my clients keep coming back. They feel looked after. They feel like it's personal. They're not just a name on a booking sheet. They're someone I've gotten to know and care about doing right by.

If you want aesthetic treatment from someone who takes time, listens properly, and meets you where you are, I'd love to chat. That's what I do.
